Explore Explain S6E9 – The Final Episode!

Welcome to episode 9 of season 6 of Explore Explain, a long-form video and podcast series all about data visualisation design. Or, at least, it was

This isn’t just the final episode of the season, it is the final episode of the show! I will post more about my reasons for this in due course, but let me thank right here every guest, listener and/or viewer for engaging with the 54 episodes we’ve pulled together, featuring 80 guests across six seasons and over the past six years.

And so, for this grand finale, I indulge in a bit of self-promotion by spending time exploring and explaining the creative process behind my new project: ‘The Seinfeld Chronicle: Digital Edition’, a rebooted and reimagined version of this long-term analytical investigation I’ve been doing about the popular US sitcom. To serve as a quick intro, you can read a bit more about the project by visiting the launch post.

The conversation was recorded as a live webinar episode featuring myself, as host and as a guest, alongside my multi-talented collaborators including data visualization designer and developer, Anne-Marie Dufour, as well as sonification superstars Miriam Quick and Duncan Geere (Loud Numbers). (Sadly, due to laryngitis, you won’t be able to hear Miriam, but you’ll certainly hear about her contributions to this project!).
