An article discussing the need for greater sophistication in recognising what outcomes certain visualisations are attempting to accomplish and indeed what they are capable of accomplishing.

I was thrilled to be invited by Visualizing.org to compile the latest in their series of ‘expert galleries’. My choices were based on a selection of great time-based visualisation work.

I was recently asked to contribute a selection of what I believe to be the five most iconic visualisations of the past 10 years for an article on FastCo Labs. The article has now been published and there are some really interesting other selections on there from Robert Kosara and Matt Stiles to make up a top 10 list.
